Recruitment process

ALG has different types of recruitment processes depending on the level for which the person is applying:

Interns and first jobs:

Application, CV review, initial telephone contact with HR, recruitment test (online), interview with the business line, offer.

Analysts, consultants and senior consultants:

Application, CV review, initial telephone contact with HR, recruitment test (only when the applicant does not have an MBA from an official business schools), first interview with the business line, second interview, offer.

Manager, senior manager and principal:

Application, CV review, initial telephone contact with HR, first interview with the business line, second interview, third interview, offer.
Recruitment test
Applications submitted through our careers portal, the Linkedin profile or by email are screened for the position applied for. They are also considered for other current vacancies.

ALG’s recruitment process includes testing candidates to assess their quantitative skills, reading comprehension and logical reasoning abilities.

In your first contact with HR, we will let you know if you need to take a remote recruiting test (this applies to everyone who does not have an MBA).

The test consists of 3 extracts and 41 questions, which must be answered in 75 minutes. The answers are marked:
- Correct answer: +1
- Incorrect answer: -0.25
- Unanswered question: 0

At ALG we are convinced that the best promoters of our company – and our practices and our sectors - are the people who are already involved. This is why we run our Member gets member programme, to spread the word and increase referrals of suitably qualified talent.

ALG’s Member gets member programme has the challenge of developing an informal network of professional referrals through ALG employees, as they are the people most familiar with our company, culture and projects.

Who can apply?

All of the company's consultant team, from business analysts to senior consultants, and the staff team.

Who can be referred?

Anyone who fits the company's profile and available vacancies (from business analysts to senior engagement managers for any area and office) can apply for full-time positions.

How do you take part?

The employee should email the candidate's CV to the recruiting manager, stating why they think the application is appropriate. If the candidate is considered appropriate for a vacancy, they must complete the selection process.

We have agreements with a long list of universities in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Cranfield, Paris, Toulouse, Antwerp, São Paulo and other locations. If your university is not included, we can reach an agreement with it.
