ALG join the Apave Aeroservices Consortium to support EASA’s international cooperation activities

11 Mar, 2025

At ALG we announce our participation as a subcontractor in the Apave Aeroservices consortium, which has been awarded a four-year framework contract by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) to provide aviation-related consultancy in support of international cooperation activities.

The framework contract, valued at up to €30 million, aims to strengthen aviation safety and regulatory oversight globally by assisting third countries in aligning with European aviation regulations. The Apave Aeroservices consortium brings together key partners, including AESA (Spain), SENASA (Spain), CAA International (UK), and us, combining extensive expertise in aviation consultancy, training, and regulatory support.

EASA’s international cooperation efforts span various aviation-related disciplines, supporting regulatory development and safety enhancement worldwide. These activities encompass legal and organizational frameworks, safety management, licensing, air operations, aircraft production and design, continuing airworthiness, accident and incident investigation, air traffic management and navigation services (ATM/ANS), aerodrome operations, environmental protection, aviation security, and drone regulations. EASA extends its impact beyond its core responsibilities in aviation safety and environmental oversight through these initiatives.

Our role as an advisor in transport and logistics consulting

As recent members of this consortium, we will contribute by providing key expertise in all activity areas, with a particular focus on aerodromes, ATM/ANS, environment, digital transformation and technology, drones, market and economic regulation. Our team will leverage its deep knowledge to support EASA’s mission of enhancing global aviation safety.

As our manager, Mario Cano, commented:

"We are proud to strengthen our long-standing partnership with EASA, contributing to their mission of enhancing aviation safety and sustainability worldwide. Being part of this top-tier consortium allows us to share the European model and jointly shape a safer, more innovative, and sustainable future for aviation".

This collaboration underscores our commitment to the aviation sector and reinforces our expertise in delivering high-impact projects worldwide. We look forward to working alongside our partners to support EASA’s international cooperation efforts over the next four years.
