Recruitment process


The interview process consists the following:



ALG is in the business of developing a high-calibre team of professionals to create both knowledge and value directly for itself and its clients and indirectly for it shareholders. As such, we welcome professionals in all stages of professional development who have a desire to have a consulting career and who identify with us, as a company, in our aspirations to grow into new areas and into new geographical territory. 

For these reasons and others, ALG employs rigorous recruitment process that includes the following:

  • Junior profiles: Graduates in Engineering and Economics with a strong academic record.
  • Senior profiles: Relevant experience in the transportation and logistics consultancy sector with preference given to postgraduate studies and/or MBA.

Upon the receipt of applications, the recruitment department filters the CVs that most closely meet the company's profile. Selected candidates will undergo an internal test, whereby successful candidates will move on to the face-to-face interview process. 


During the interview process (normally consists of two interviews), the candidate will be questioned in a number of areas followed by a case-study whereby, his/her analytical capacity, and ability to rationalize and resolve are tested. This stage of the recruitment process will determine the overall evaluation of the candidate's aptitude for ALG’s consulting needs as well as assess his/her match with the company's culture, from a more personal perspective.
